Members of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Inc. and their families had the chance to tour DAS HAUS on this day set aside specifically for them. The DAS HAUS team was excited to present a special just-for-kids program teaching issues in conservation, sustainability, and the environment in a fun and interactive setting.

From 1:00pm  to 3:00pm, children of all ages were able to explore DAS HAUS in an interactive scavenger hunt that was fun for kids and adults alike.  Attendees learned about how solar power is made—by seeing real solar panels firsthand—and learned how this energy goes to powering the house! A series of interactive clues and questions guided kids through the pavilion, with a fun surprise at the end!

After visiting DAS HAUS, members and their families had the opportunity to make a day of it by visiting the Green Living Show, Canada’s largest Green consumer show, exhibiting at the Direct Energy Centre across from DAS HAUS http://www.greenlivingonline.com/torontoshow/.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP here or contact Simone Justa at simone.justa@germanchamber.ca.
