Students of the universities in the Greater Toronto Area got the chance to tour DAS HAUS on a day set aside specifically for them. Architecture, city planning, design, or engineering are just some of the areas of study that could benefit from a DAS HAUS tour.

Swing by DAS HAUS after 11.00 am and experience a tour, as well as some networking. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

11.00 am – 12.30 pm University of Toronto

After a tour of the DAS HAUS pavilion, Ekaterina Tzekova, PhD student from UofT’s Department of Civil Engineering, will present her research project: Gemini NTEDTM Low Energy Home Design.

12.30 pm – 01.45 pm Ryerson University

After a tour of the DAS HAUS pavilion, two students from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Ryerson University will present their research project:

1. Fabio Almeida: Phase Change Material R& D

2. Navid Ekrami: Residential Micro Tri-Generation Project

01.45 pm – 03.00 pm York University

03.00 pm – 4.15 pm Ontario College of Art and Design

After a tour of the DAS HAUS pavilion, five students from the OCAD (April Baxter, Leigh Krekoski, Gafar Madamidola, Riikka Manninen, Anna Totska) will be giving a pesentation on the redevelopment of the Tower Automotive building at 158 Sterling Rd.

04.15 pm – 05.00 pm George Brown College

After a tour of the DAS HAUS pavilion, Tobias Mielke, a student at George Brown College will present his research work on new building materials.
